ACE Basin and the Gas Industry

Our Lowcountry is threatened by the gas industry.

Dominion Energy and the state-owned utility Santee Cooper want to convert an inactive coal-fired power plant in Colleton County to natural gas. The station, generally known as the “Canadys Station” is located along the Edisto River! The Edisto River is the only wild undammed river left in the state of South Carolina and is one of longest free flowing blackwater rivers in North America.

Please help the South Carolina Environmental Law Project email the 6 members of the Conference Committee that you oppose Bill H 5118.
